It’s finally here! GPSFF 2010 is back, for one night only!

Dinner, Fun, and some of the Best Films in Philly!

Today is the last last day to buy discount tickets. We are shuttering our online ticketing booth at 6PM, get your discounted tickets BEFORE you get to the door! Tix are $7 online, $10 at the door

Finally, remember to print out your ticket confirmations if you pre-ordered!

A note on parking: There are two parking garages within one block of the festival. There’s Five Star Parking located at 377 S Broad Street (215-732-0877) and Interpark Garage located at 440 S. Broad Street (215-545-2871). Of course, parking in Center City is a little pricey, so we definitely recommend car pooling or mass transit!

Congratulations to all our finalists! We will be screening the top films in each category at our Awards Ceremony on April 2nd. We will be in contact with all of the finalist submitters shortly.

A note on this year’s GPSFF finalists: We received a lot of GREAT films this year — many many more than the list you see above. It always hurts when we have to cut some really excellent films. We know how much time, effort, and dedication you put into these films; for us, selecting among such amazing films is always an immensely painful process. As with last year’s festival, we have taken extra steps to make sure this process as as fair and equitable as possible - you can read about these on our rules page. If your film wasn’t selected, we know it’s very disappointing. If it’s any consolation, please remember there’s always the chance to submit another film or two to GPSFF 2011. In the past, we always have past submitters who came back the subsequent year and made finalist. Either, we truly hope you don’t lose your passion and dedication to film making — keep making those great movies Philadelphia!

Thanks to everyone who submitted a film to GPSFF 2010!! All in all, we received more than 100 films from 11 different schools in the region. You guys are now part of the largest student film festival in Philadelphia. And folks, we have to admit - these films are awesome! (brought me to tears, knocked me off my chair, etc.)

Submission Deadline Extended: Submissions Due February 17th

You may have noticed that the Greater Philadelphia area just experienced a series of awesome storms that left much of the region buried in several feet of snow.

Because a number of filmmakers have contacted us about troubles getting their films to us in these conditions, we’ve decided to extend the deadline until Next Wednesday, February 17th. The $10 submission fee still applies and all films must be received by 5pm February 17th to be considered for the festival, at the location listed at gpsff.com/submit.

We hope this helps, and we extend our sincerest appreciation to those of you who managed through the snow to get your films in on the original deadline. Thanks!
