Black and White
I encourage everyone to embrace B&W. It is such a beautiful way to film. If you want to see a superb example watch Touch of Evil by Orson Welles. Not only amazing acting and story, but the cinematography is astounding.

Great cinematography. No story. In many ways I hate these films because they have so much potential, but end up just being a string of pretty pictures. Imagine if there were drama happening at the same time! We can dream…
I recommend watching 0:29-:037. The best shot of the movie by far.

The Gotan Project meets Chet Baker. This is the ideal mixture of cool jazz and tango. A perfect soundtrack…It clocks in at about 7 minutes, but each second is worth it.
Leo’s Song from impactist on Vimeo.
When a geometric visitor from another planet becomes your new roommate and shares with you the tragic state of its home world, you drop your guitar and see what you can do. We created this piece in response to the accompanying music track we created in honor of a visiting cat named Leo. Process: hand drawn animation

If you’ve ever been to Spain you’ll be LYAO (is that an acronym?). This short is about a man who is about to commit suicide. His family comes up to stop him…
A very dark comedy with a huge dose of Spanish cussing. What could be better?

This is hilarious. Guns, Babes (don’t worry ladies, there are dancing dudes too), Dancing, and a storyline that is ridiculously unbelievable. A MUST WATCH.
At first it is kind of cool because they are fighting and singing at the same time, but then…you’ll just have to watch the film. I’m still laughing.

Must see. It uses live action, animation, and stop motion. Very touching too.
